Hello! Welcome back to my humble space! Today I'm going to share with my experience with Naughty Nails!
I have visited Naughty Nails Studio over at Braddell, which is almost in the middle of Singapore, pretty accessible as you can just tap out of Braddell MRT and take a 5 mins walk to reach there!
The colours available for Gelish Nails! There's a lot to choose from!
The process is quite simple. It uses Gelish nail polishes so that it can last slightly longer.
Step 1: Buffering and reshaping of my unshaped nails. I don't really take care of my nails, so they are in pretty bad condition.
Step 2: Base Coat
Step 3: 2-3 Layers of Gelish coats. For the nails that will be printed on will be painted in White while the rest can be in any colours of your choice! Therefore it's highly recommended that you should find images with White background.
Step 4: Primer! Have to put on a layer of primer before the start of the printing. It's really similar to doing your makeup routine, must have a base to have a good top layer.
Naughty Nails Emphasizes on hygiene, so every time after they are done reshaping and buffering, they will sanitized your hands and their tools to ensure everything is clean! Three thumbs up for this! Because I know a lot of places don't practice this step, which I find it really important. This means that Naughty Nails cares for all their customers! :)
Btw, Naughty Nails already have some images installed into the machine and there's a menu for you to choose from if you feel like making an impromptu trip! :) Or otherwise you may bring your photos in thumbdrive or save it on your Samsumg mobile (only, sadly doesn't really work on iPhone) to be able to transfer the images to the machine!
Almost ready to start printing! But before that, there are a few things that is required to be done before experience the most WOW moment.
Before we get to print on our nails, it is a must to add on a layer or rubber sticker around your finger(s) so as to keep your fingers clean! No leakage and it doesn't hurt at all. Once done, your finger that will be going through the process will be fixed onto a plastic finger holder so that it ensure little to zero movement during the printing. This ensures that the printing will not be interrupted by tiny movement and your image(s) will be printed nicely and neatly.
And now it's time for printing!
Now, the images are being transferred into this tiny little Pink magic box. Yes, it's really like magic when you see the printing process! The images will be resized and shaped into your nails on the monitor. Once satisfied, you may start the actual printing process!
At first I thought it was gonna hurt. Like seriously, this is my first time doing Gelish and the UV led box gave me a little shock because it was hot for a few seconds (less than 5), which I wasn't expecting. Nobody told me it was going to be hot, but I guess it's the price to pay to have pretty and long lasting nails!
The printing process (video) can be found on my instagram account, so be sure to check! (Will link the url right over here once it's uploaded :))
Another layer of top coat will be painted once it's dried!
Now it's time to share with you my newly done nails!

Tada!
I am really amazed with the speed and accuracy of the printer!! It's super fast (less than 1 minute for each nails) and it doesn't hurt at all! You can literally print anything on your nails. Your dog's picture, your selfie, the Eiffel Tower and so on!!
It will be such a fun thing to do with your friends or even on your special day. Even my boyfriend is impressed by the printing. ;) It does not only save you an hour (or more) to do your nails because of the long and tiring process of hand painting them on, but you can customize it to your needs. Sure, hand painted nails are really fancy but hand painted nails will not be able to give you the exact same thing as from the picture(s).
Do give it a try and let me know if you enjoyed it! The owner Joycelyn is really friendly and nice to talk to. The place is small but cozy, felt like home. There's TV if you're bored or don't wish to talk, but I'm sure you'll want to talk to Joycelyn as she's so fun and caring. Very insightful as well. :)
Here's another reason why you should visit Naughty Nails. They have organic nail polishes! I'm not very sure if there are other places who uses Organic Gelish in their studio, but if you don't know any and wish to try out organic nail polishes, do come over! It has lesser chemicals and they don't smell like those typical nail polishes, which I really hate because it makes me giddy.
Some of the other hand painted nail art!
