Highline Eye Pencil - Almond #5, Cat Street Rose & Mark Hand Cream, Too Cool For School Glossy Blaster Tint in Giddy Rosy.
Sorry for the delay, but I wasn't feeling well enough to blog about reviews. Anyway, I'm back with a new First Impression + Review, on a relatively new cosmetics brand in Singapore. Honestly, I always thought they sell notebooks and all other school related products (no idea why, but I'm not the only one!), but I got curious and went into one of their shops and realised that they sell makeup and not stationeries!
I got this cute little gift from Jasmine for Christmas (She still owe me a flatlay for the gift I got her!! If you are reading this, give it to me NOW!) and I am in love with the effort they put in for the packaging. Look at the illustrations, how they package the eyeliner pencil, seriously, too much effort. I guess they have a few different range, so there isn't any link to all of their products in store, which is quite annoying because it would make an even better gift if it's all in the same hand draw illustrated kind of packaging.
Instead of putting the Highline Eye Pencil in Almond #5 on my inner corner, I lined it right above my black eyeliner to create an illusion of deep set eyes. I have hooded eyes and extreme parallel eyelids and I find that by doing so, it helps to create some depth and brings more attention to my black eyeliner and giving an illusion that I lined my waterline instead on my eyelids (let me know if you hooded eyelids girl are interested! I can do a tutorial on it!).

I put on the eyeliner at around 3pm and got home at 12.30am. My eyes are constantly watery, so it's difficult to find a good pencil eyeliner that won't budge even after all those rubbing and tearing!! So I give it a three thumbs up because of the lasting power! Most of the time, even after using primer (I use NARS Eyeshadow Primer), pencil eyeliner will just be all over my face after 2-3 hours. I was expecting the gold to be gone after a few hours, but no. It lasted throughout the night. Something to add on to the WOW: It was drizzling and raining on that day and I did not bring my umbrella at all.
Truly amazed by the staying power! I will go and check out the other Highline Eye Pencil!
Next up, will be their Glossy Blaster Tint in Giddy Rosy.
It's a soft Rosy Red shade with a slight orange tint (in real life, not sure if you can see it well on picture as it varies on different monitors/screen resolution). I love the formula of this. It's not drying and it last quite a bit. For so many lip tints that I have tried, this is one of the best. It gives coverage. It feels like some highend full coverage lip gloss, instead of a lip tint. Usually lip tint will not be able to show much on my lips and lip tints doesn't stain my lips at all. But this Glossy Blaster Tint did a decent job.
I have tried Benetint and some other brands but the just don't stain my lips at all. This formula is amazing. 1. Not drying 2. stains my lips 3. good coverage. I did not pay much attention throughout the night as I was in a hotel room and it was dark (and all I care about was to eat and not think about anything else).

The stain is quite even except for the middle part of my top lips. Which always happen. Top lip won't get any color from any other brands so I must say this is pretty good. However, the down side for this lip tint is the scent. I am not into scented products on my lips because they make me sick. I'll get headache or even just get really sick in my stomach. When I put it on, I was in love with everything except for the scent. I immediately got a headache but it was a mild one, but it lasted till I remove it off.. So for those who dislike scented products, this might not be the one for you. But if you are keen on trying, why not?
So to end of with this post, here's a picture of my face! Just want to show off the hair that my friend did for me. I love it so much that I'm so upset because I can't achieve that on my own (for now).
Btw, the lip tint here was after all the greasy pizza, cake, drinks and everything else. I did blot a little away before eating. It looks natural in pictures, which is a plus. Oh and refer to my selfie for the "illusion of lined waterline for hooded eyes".
I am not going to do a review on the hand cream just yet, as I have way too many for now! Will do a blog post entirely just for hand cream so stay tuned!
I have not really decide if I should do a December Favs first or a What's in My Travel Bag (2 parts) but next post will be up on Sat, so... stay tuned! ^^V
Thank you for reading my blog! Super appreciate it. :)
